Old cyberpunk made digital money look dramatic, but the real version is much more boring and practical: phones, wallets, exchanges, 2FA, fees, account settings, market alerts, and people checking prices from anywhere.
That side of it is what interests me more lately. Not the hype, just how normal it has become to use online platforms for things that used to feel very “future finance”.
