What is wirechan?

A Lain focused community that encourages philosophical, technological and cyberpunk discussion, this being with a mature userbase. We have a variety of boards for you entertainment and discussion. The Wirechan experience is expected to be comfy, and philosophical. Visualize Wirechan as a dystopian cyberpunk world.

Is there somewhere else I can talk with the users of Wirechan?

Yes, we have an IRC channel in the Rizon network. Join us #wirechan.

Aren't you the same as x-chan?

Read the footer. We don't care about x or y chan. We are not the same, if you don't like it, go back from where you came from.

Wasn't this imageboard different?

It used to run in a software called iikoto. But the project was abandoned. So I (koi, owner of re:wire) decided to take wirechan back, now it runs under vichan.

Will Wirechan get new things added?

Yes.

What's the difference between re:wire and wirechan?

Even though Wirechan is part of "re:wire group", one isn't the same as another. They share users, but wirechan can be called a "child" of re:wire. We expect for Wirechan to eventually go in a different direction.

How do I enable gallery mode?

Click in the hyperlink to enable it and the click an image, gallery mode should be enabled, ta-da.

Yes, we do have text formatting.

If you want to make your life easier and not remember these... "Options" -> "Formatting Options" and check "Formatting toolbar", you should now have a wrap option and a way to select the available formattings
