Optimistic about this project. Been using a secondary tweaked Tor browser for some clearnet surfing for a while, but it was frustrating that when Tor foundation would roll out an update it might break my preferred configuration.
>maybe there's a use case for less tech-oriented people?
Tech-oriented or not, any well maintained fork of a somewhat hardened version of Firefox without telemetry seems very useful for navigating current year world wide web. Overall, the more devs that are collaborating on removing the botnet crap that Mozilla forces upon the user the better.

Noticed under search engines that there's an option for Mullvad Leta, which apparently is just a front end for Google search. I can't find anything on their blog explaining it but it could be an indicator of them making a dedicated search for the browser.

The browser is out and it's just LibreWolf with two blacklists added to uBlock Origin by default.
Good job, mullvad. At least the morons that follow TechLore have something to talk about.

It doesn't seem super impressive, but it's still early in development. Hopefully access to .onion addresses or routing only the browser's traffic through Mullvad will be added features. Just seeing another privacy focused browser, especially in the face of the Restrict Act, is nice. Even if it is basic, hopefully more normie-ish people will use it.
