>>1423Usually when there's a fear of asking stupid questions, it's incites posturing and sickness.
>Only if you want to be cool in the eyes of others not if you geuinely want to learn.
>Some questions can be adequately searched, certainly.Yet if you follow this rule explicitly, then you'll find dead discussions and, frankly, I mean, why even bother discussing?
No idea what youre talking about people on the same level ask questions on the same level, its only idiotic if its common knowlegde for a certain group, going to stephen hawking and asking how to divide its idiotic and brings the whole room down thats not what the group its for, if you dont know keep quiet and learn by yourself(lurk) or go to the appropriate place or person (a math teacher)
Things are only idiotic relative to the level of knowledge of the group.
>Maybe a better marker would be the level of earnestness they have.Someone who is earnest wouldn't continue to ask the same questions, forget things, show no original thought, etc
That has only a vampiric drain knowledge effect, one person gains knowledge the other person loses time. In a discussion both parties gain something if not then its idiotic.
>The intrinsic nebulous nature of language, I think, /requires/ someone to ask a 'dumb' question to get back to reality. If the person its outta of touch with reality then yes, but that is a personal problem.
>Otherwise you eventually start talking past each other. Not if they are well adjusted individuals who care about the topic more than low self esteem posturing.
>Or talk about a whole lot of nothing while trying to sound as though you've everything in the bag. I don't know. Why are you assuming that everybody its like that? the point of places like this its exactly to discuss tard things with other tards, why would we entertain people who act like that? They're idiots.
>Maybe we're all at the point where it's pointless anyway.cope and gay
up the street not across the road
>I've dealt with my fair share of disinterested people just looking for a quick solution many times in my life.It can be frustrating, you can dismiss them as idiots if you like - or maybe they're the smart ones, because they're more attentive toward reality than those buried deep in config files and wirespace nonsense.
That is half correct as in go outside nerd all that stuff nonsense and not real
That is half inccoret as in nonsense its fun and
the un-real is the basis for making things reality.
otherwise "nothing really matters" and you might wanna just kill at random and get laughed at in memes after.
>Nevertheless there's something deeply saddening about dismissively sending someone off to "google it" ad infinitum.
nobody said that
>What a proper way to dissolve any sort of connection, or remove any serendipitous insightsAnonymous board get a forum for connection and "frens" better yet, go outside nerd.
>No question is idiotic, but repeated questions are. Repeated questioning about the unknow are not idiotic the opposite actually.
One question about 1+1 = 2 at 27 and youre pushing it.
